CIEE International Faculty Development Seminars
CIEE: The Council on International Educational Exchange has been providing education abroad programs since 1947. Today CIEE member institutions form a worldwide network of colleges and universities committed to excellence in international education. Portland State University is a CIEE member institution.
CIEE International Faculty Development Seminars (IFDS) offer faculty the opportunity to increase their international awareness, transform their campus and curricula, and expand their research and publication. The seminars are intensive educational experiences designed to explore fascinations, challenge preconceptions, and open eyes to global issues shaping the world today. Each seminar features lectures, site visits, and discussions with overseas academics and colleagues. OSU faculty qualify for the CIEE member discount.
