AHA Athens Summer
Live and study in this colorful, vibrant capital, the birthplace of western civilization, at the crossroads of east and west. Experience the Parthenon, the Acropolis, and the winding streets of the Plaka—the area of the old town known for its bustling flea market, lively tavernas, and craft shops. Enjoy the Mediterranean climate and relaxed pace. Classes take place at the Athens Centre, in a neo-classical building surrounded by a quiet garden courtyard in the heart of the city’s center. Discover the unique combination of ancient culture and contemporary life that makes Athens an experience rich in history and contrast.
Three summer programs, in the heart of Athens, offer you a unique and privileged artistic experience in Greece. As all programs take place at the same time, you will be part of a dynamic community of people engaged in art, poetry, and Modern Greek language. All programs include basic instruction in Modern Greek and other activities including Greek dance. Participate as a group in evening events such as poetry readings, art exhibitions and theater performances.
