County Libraries
Public libraries in Portland are operated by the local county. Once you have registered for a library card you can check-out books, music, movies and more for 2-3 weeks at a time, depending on the item. There are three counties in the Portland Metro area, plus one in nearby Vancouver. You do not need to live in the same county as a library to use that library, but some resources may be limited to residents. The PSU Library also offers a wide array of resources to students.
