For almost three decades, the PSU Summer Session has been bringing visiting professors from around the world to teach on campus, providing students and the greater campus community with the opportunity to gain unique perspectives and international points of view from specialists in a wide range of subjects.

Most of these professors come through the International Visiting Professor (IVP) Program, administered by OIA’s Office of International Faculty Services. Working in concert with PSU’s academic departments, IFS develops a roster of visiting faculty representing several colleges and schools within the university. OIA then arranges to bring these visitors to campus for courses, workshops, and special lectures.
