Boren Fellowship Awarded to PSU’s Matt Clark for 2009-10

OIA is proud to announce that Matt Clark, a graduate student in the Conflict Resolution program, has been awarded a Boren Fellowship to Turkey for the 2009-10 academic year. His proposal focuses on national security issues and the importance of the US-Turkish-Kurdish relationship in promoting stability in the Middle East. He plans to look at all facets of the relationship, from terrorism to economic development and energy management, and he will incorporate conflict resolution theories and methodologies into his work. Matt is learning Turkish and will enhance his ability with the language throughout the year. Congratulations Matt!
