Fulbright Fellowships Offered to Three PSU Students for 2009-10

OIA proudly announces three PSU students who will have Fulbright Fellowships for the 2009-10 academic year.
Lindsay Skog, a graduate student in Geography, will spend next year in Nepal as she studies and maps sacred landscapes as identified by Sherpa people in the mountainous Khumbu region.
Alicia Viani, a graduate student in the School of Social Work, has plans to gather information for a project in Finland. She will research mental sexual attitudes among adolescent females and how those attitudes are constructed.
Sarah Deede, a recent graduate with a Master’s in History, will work as an English Teaching Assistant in Germany in the year ahead. She looks forward to participating in cultural exchange while improving her German speaking ability and gaining relevant work experience for her teaching career.
